An enhancement to the Monitor service, Manage provides an incident investigation service that reactively or proactively investigates performance incidents, analyses the cause and recommends corrective action.
AAI Assure is a service level agreement that BT has developed which gives the customer the benefit of ensuring its organisations business critical applications will perform in the way they expect them to. Assured application performance is only available on infrastructures provided and managed by BT.
We offer a range of five audits that can be implemented on any business connectivity infrastructure, including IP, frame or other networking technologies.
Applications Landscape is conducted over one day and provides you with a snapshot of your applications performance.
Application Troubleshoot is for specific application performance problems.
Applications Audit is a comprehensive assessment of your applications. It lasts for four weeks and provides you with a detailed analysis of which applications are in use, how they are performing, who is using them, where they are located, and identifies hotspots.
Application Profiling helps you understand the design requirements of your infrastructure before a new application is deployed.
Application Impact helps you to assess the impact that a new application will have when deployed on your infrastructure alongside your existing applications.
In Optimise we are using the information we gather intelligently from AAI Audit, Monitor or Manage to advise customers on how to achieve better performance by suggesting ways to optimise elements across the infrastructure.
Using the information from the audit or monitor phases, BT will make recommendations to:
Improve asset utilisation
Optimise infrastructure performance
Consolidate and rationalise – e.g. data centre
Improve the end-user experience
Implement new IP based end-user services, such as IP telephony and real-time collaborative functionality
